“Great place to stay”

My Husband and I stayed here for three nights in July of 2008. Nice secluded place away from everything. Arrived earlier than check-in and though it took some hours to get a room - still before check-in time - the staff was very friendly and accomodating. The unit was large, clean, well maintained, and we felt like we had just rented an apartment somewhere with everything fully furnished. All the comforts of home. The grounds are also quiet and very well maintained. You can choose not to have maid service which works out great because you don't have to time things around the cleaning lady. Lots of linens were provided and you also have a washer and dryer right in your room. The golf courses surrounding the resort were also great with wonderful friendly service. This place is a golfer's paradise if that's what you are going for - which is why we were there. Going back to the area next year for a reunion and plan to stay at the same place. Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

We stayed four nights here, and were very impressed. They give you everything you need to make your stay pleasant, like you never left your house, dishsoap,plates,hangers, etc. We even needed our AC filter changed and maintenance was there in 4 minutes. It is a very nice place to stay if you dont want stay too close to the busy crowds of the beach, with a quieter atmosphere. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will visit again

Wild Wing Resort is a great place to stay in Conway. Wild Wing is off the main road and secluded as opposed to most the places in Conway. It is not a hotel but condos--ours had 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and was far cheaper than two hotel rooms. The rooms are not brand-new, but far better than average on quality and well-stocked with kitchen items. It is very kid-friendly, as opposed to another local location that does not even allow children. There is a pool and playground close by the condos at WIld Wing, and seemed to be very well maintained. We will definitely go back and recommend it to others staying in town. We wish had discovered it years ago!

These are condos that are just like home away from home. They had everything you could possible need for your vacation. The staff was great, and very friendly. The condos are just like the pictures, which was a great relief! The cost is so great, compared to the ridiculous prices of hotel rooms, that could not even compare to the amenities you get! We stayed here while on a vacation to Myrtle Beach during the week of the 4th of July. It was great, only about 10 minutes down to the beach and all the entertainment, and then home at night to peace and quiet and relaxation. They don't include daily maid service, but had everything there (like vacuum, dish soap and dishwasher soap, etc), so you don't really need it! We have found our place to stay whenever visiting the area!

Staff had great "southern hospitality". Went out of their way to make sure our group had condos next to each other. Condo was very clean, well equipped kitchen. Property well maintained. We loved our stay there during bike week and plan on returning again next year. Great price too!!!

Excellent Place to Stay....

I have gone to Bike Week in Myrtle Beach each year for the past 7 years, have always stayed in DUMPS for $100-$150 a night...this place is actually more like a 2 bedroom time share than a hotel, best place in the Myrtle Beach area for the money, without a doubt!

Great place to stay

I found Wild Wing was a great place to stay. I normally stay in hotels but decided to give this a try. Glad I did, the condo was great. It was very clean and well cared for. If you are planning to have a late arrival, be sure to call ahead to get a code for the lock box that will hold your key. The only copmplaint was from the kids; they wished they had a television in there room. The kitchen was great, normally we would go out for breakfast. The kitchen allowed us to stay in the condo for breakfast. This allowed the wife and I to get some much needed rest before we headed out with the kids. I would highly recommend staying here.

Call ahead if you may arrive late. The office is only open until 6:00.

Nice place!

Positives: Clean, comfortable and spacious condo. Quiet, low-key location. Close to several golf courses. Negatives: Not real close to the beach, if that is the type of location you are looking for.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

With the 2 bedroom/2 bath condo, we shared with another couple. This place was definitely less expensive than 2 hotel rooms and much more spacious and comfortable. When in MB check it out. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Roomy, Comfortable, Quiet, Convenient

Nice condo, it held our family of 6 comfortably, nice pool, about 15 minutes to Myrtle Beach and 20 to North Myrtle Beach. We got a great rate, especially since most hotels won’t put 6 people in a room, so we are pretty restricted to condos and suite hotels.

Pleasantly Surprised!

We got such a great rate for a 2 bedroom condo that we weren’t sure what to expect. What a nice surprise to find a clean, roomy condo with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (split plan) a fully equipped kitchen with full size appliances and even included a blender, can opener, wine opener, dishwasher and a washer and dryer. We liked it so much we exteded our stay. Great place for families - it has a playground, picnic tables and grills for cookouts, a large clean pool, kiddie pool and hot tub. The staff is very accommodating and can help with golf or show reservations and you can purchase discount tickets to local attractions through them. **One note of caution - The office closes every night at 6pm so if you are checking in late make sure you call ahead and they will make arrangements for you to pick up the key late.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Go to the Ripleys Aquarium. Also, rent a pontoon boat for half a day or a full day and go to the uninhabited Bird Island - look in the giftshops for the fliers directing you to the boat rentals.
